Why are so many Christians and churches taking part in Eastern meditative practices like transcendental meditation, Yoga and other mystical shenanigans?
Starting Friday there are three globally significant New Age events in with one common denominator: Deepak Chopra:
On August 8th:
New Age guru Deepak Chopra is kicking off what he calls “the world’s largest syncretized meditation” in history, which will attempt to hail in a massive tipping point toward a global shift to peace.
The Chopra Center is teaching newbies how to meditate, and it’s NOT on God’s Word.
Chopra is encouraging people to join in and perhaps even get into the Guiness Book of World Records – or at the very least usher in a more just, peaceful, healthier, more sustainable and happier world.
The name of this event: Seduction of Spirit. I kid you not. It’s part of a week-long retreat in which Deepak, Gabrielle Bernstein, and others will guide participants through reflective workshops, yoga practices, and guided meditations dedicated to increasing global consciousness and connection, and helping attendees build their personal practice and find inner peace.
The retreat will be held in Toronto and the meditation part will be simulcast over the internet around the world.
Chopra and Oprah launch 3-week meditation journey August 11
On August 11th:
Oprah and Deepak launch a free 21-Day Meditation Experience, offering daily guided audio meditations via an online, interactive program. It’s called, “Finding Your Flow,” and teaches people how to go into a deep silence to experience and influence their own energy flow, which they claim is a “dynamic current that attracts more joy, love, and fulfillment.”
Rob Bell and Oprah Winfrey
On September 5th
Oprah is going on national tour with Deepak and Emergent guru Rob Bell. Bell is the former pastor of Mars Hill church who denies the doctrine of a real Hell (making him a heretic in the true sense of the word), and is a strong supporter of homosexual marriage.

Poor Rob Bell. Poor Bobo-fette (last comment) if Deepak and Oprah are his heroes. Is our faith 'paranoid, legalistic' and unloving, Bobo? That would be to call the Apostle Paul unloving. After all, he denounced the goddess worship and the New Age religiosity of his day, and did so in the name of Jesus Christ. 'But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach another Gospel than the one we preached to you, let him be ACCURSED.' Galatians 1:8. Not 'accursed' by Paul but 'accursed' by God. Because God can be as legalistic as he likes. This is God's universe. This is God's holy and eternal law. This is God's way of saving sinners like you and me, Bobo, like Oprah and Deepak and Rob Bell. Go to YouTube and listen to the sermon by Arthur W Pink, THE NATURE OF APOSTASY (5 parts). Pink wanted to win back his lost generation. He wanted to win them back to Reformed theology, to the Gospel of grace and to 'sola Scriptura'. As Pink says, even the souls of the saved are in danger as long as we are in this sinful world. We must pray for Bell, Oprah and Deepak, and for the thousands who will be taken in by their antichrist false gospel. Thanks.

Rob Bell, Tony Jones, and Brian MClaren have been doing.. and you're providing me the connection.. thanks.. oh by the way.. your paranoid legalistic interp of God is losing.. ha! His SPirit of Love will win…. yeah.. these folks aren't perfect.. that's why McLaren and Bell gets death threats.. and every week your pharisees get lauded as good moralists.. yet get ratted out by lovers and stafff.. hmmmmm
