As our culture heads further away from God, it makes sense that more people are also rejecting truth. This often leads to attacks on those of us who believe in and who represent the God of truth. Are Christians equipped to respond to the false accusations and charges of hate? Is your family prepared to deal with the daily battles?

It’s more important than ever to for Christians to be educated, equipped, and emboldened with the truth of Scripture as well as  excellent, logical arguments to defend the faith.

TODAY’S GUEST – Author, pastor, and apologist, Juan Valdez of Reasons for Hope has always had a curious mind and asked lots of questions growing up. Searching for answers has been his passion and a lifelong journey.

deBUNKED videos are produced to quickly and humorously (but not exhaustively) answer skeptics’ questions, challenge anti-biblical assertions, address misunderstandings, and defend the biblical worldview…with gentleness and respect, of course.

“People are equal, but ideas are not.” – Juan Valdez

The book, How to Think, is, as the title suggests, a crash course in critical thinking aimed at equipping the reader with the necessary tools to engage and evaluate ideas in search of truth.

  • Critical Thinking Principles
  • Logic and Rational Arguments
  • Obstacles to Critical Thinking
  • Identifying Logical Fallacies

The content of this book may be challenging, but the reader will find it extremely rewarding.  There is freedom in being able to differentiate between what is true and what is not.  There is freedom in knowing the truth and being able to support it with sound reason.  In the words of Jesus, “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” (John 8:32)

 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ; 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

SEGMENT 3

Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was barren; and the Lord answered him and Rebekah his wife conceived. 22 But the children struggled together within her; and she said, “If it is so, why then am I this way?” So she went to inquire of the Lord. 23 The Lord said to her,

“Two nations are in your womb;
And two peoples will be separated from your body;
And one people shall be stronger than the other;
And the older shall serve the younger.”

24 When her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.” Genesis 25:21-24
