TODAY’S GUEST: Dr. J. B. Hixson has more than thirty years of ministry experience in the pastoral and academic arenas. Dr. Hixson has degrees from Houston Baptist University, Dallas Theological Seminary, and Baptist Bible Seminary. He is pastor of Plum Creek Chapel in Colorado. We discuss why it’s important to know and study Bible prophecy and the fact a majority of Christians avoid it. The Bible is nearly one-third prophecy and describes the end times and what we have to look forward to as believers.

It is profitable to study and Revelation promises a blessing to those who read, hear, and obey it. Prophecy also gives us hope for the future, motivation in the present, encourages our faith due to fulfilled prophecies, and inspires us to worship the sovereign Creator who is in complete control of all history.

NEW! Spirit of the Antichrist: The Gathering Cloud of Deception (DVD Set)

The Antichrist will rule the world during the future seven-year Tribulation period foretold in Scripture. Empowered by Satan himself, this evil tyrant will unfurl the greatest deception ever seen on the earth. It will be a time of unprecedented chaos and devastation as the cosmic struggle between good and evil reaches a climax. Although the Church will be rescued before this seven-year Tribulation, the Bible tells us the spirit of the Antichrist is already at work today (1 John 4:3), setting the stage for the great End Times deception. What signs do we see today that expose this gathering cloud of deception?

Indeed, all who want to live in a godly way in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 But evil people and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them; 2 Timothy 2:13-14

Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:3-4

“It’s not so much what we do, it’s why we do what we do.” – J.B. Hixson
