Here is a question: Should biblical translators take the words Father and Son out of the Bible in order to better reach the Muslim world with the “truth” of the Gospel? Or are these translations failing to portray God as who He is: the eternal, loving God the Father, Son and Spirit, with the deity of Jesus Christ as the Son? Translation has become a hot topic among Muslim-background believers who object to what they see as accommodating Islam. How are missionaries who risk their lives to bring the Bible to Muslim nations to respond?

Helping us sort these questions out is our special guest today is Elijah Abraham. Elijah is a born-again Christian who converted from his Muslim faith, and now helps equip Christians to reach the Muslim world. His organization, Biblical Missiology, has organized a petition to bring this topic to light so that organizations like Wycliffe, Frontiers and SIL do not remove Father and Son from the Bible.
