Massachusetts School Presents ‘Gay-Friendly Biblical Spoof’

Adam and Steve. We can’t make this up.  The curtain is set to rise on “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told,” a play that bashes Christianity – or at least the Christians who believe that the Bible is true. Naturally, the ACLU is defending this production.

Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School (PVPA) is set to move forward with a production of “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told,” a play that is described as a “gay-friendly Biblical spoof.” The play is a satire of the book of Genesis, featuring gay characters such as Adam and Steve and Jane and Mabel.
The play, which will run from 15–17 March, already has sparked controversy in the community. Head of School Scott Goldman says that the school has been “bombarded with emails and phone calls calling the show ‘blasphemous and hateful.’” Despite protests, Goldman states that the show will proceed as planned:
