Today we’re going to be talking about a very sudden shift in how the Church is being portrayed by the government, the media and by a growing number of Christians who are challenging and even pressuring the Bride of Christ to adapt to a new normal.

The Word of God tells us He is the same yesterday today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus also said a sign of the end is when good is called evil and evil is called good. But this issue is much bigger than one church, one football player and one news story. Let’s take a step back and look at the bigger picture facing the Church.  We want to look at the astoundingly rapid change in the culture and its demands on Christians to comply or face consequences. What should elders and pastors be doing to understand and prepare for this great falling away?

Joining us in the first segment today is a pastor, Christian talk show host and author Carl Gallups.  Carl is senior pastor of Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Florida, and he also hosts of YouTube Christian Apologetics – God and Country channel PPSIMMONS. He has written a book titled The Magic Man in the Sky: Effectively Defending the Christian Faith, released a few months back. You can hear him on Freedom Friday, a podcast interview show.
