We know that we most assuredly are in a time of the great falling away that Jesus spoke of. We are seeing a huge increase in false teachings and false teachers infiltrating even ministries and churches that have been solid contenders for truth. We know what the Bible says about grievous wolves, and how we must call them out, by name.
Pastor Chris Quintana joins us to discuss these perilous times, and to exhort us all to finish strong. He is senior pastor at Calvary Chapel Cypress in California. You can listen to his live sermons each Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday evening as he teaches verse-by-verse through the Scriptures.

Thank you for this program. Pastor Chris discussing the pitfalls of using books written by mere men, as diluting the message of the Gospel is right on target in my opinion.
I have the same issue with people when they try to explain a certain biblical stance they have, by quoting a "church father". I'll use Calvinism as an example, although I don't mean to pick on Calvinists only 🙂 But trying to discuss soteriology and wrap one's mind around Election vs. Free Will is not helped when someone starts quoting Calvin or man-made acronyms to defend a certain stance. I don't want to hear it….. I just want to know what God's Word says, period – not the opinions of a fallible man.
We should call them out by name. It is biblical.
Not only that but there is an unspoken 'secret' out there. I know that many have left the churches due to the growing apostasy in them and not being able to find a bible honoring congregation. But there are so many out there who have fallen away and either say they 'used to be a Christian' or hide the fact altogether. So many will say 'oh, well they were never saved anyway' but there are many bible verses that state one can fall away and refute 'eternal security' as a doctrine. Either way there are many.
