Bigger is better, right? The Church Growth Movement has captured the fancy of Christian leaders and members alike. After all, if our churches are bigger and growing, that means God is behind it, right?
Not so fast. Our guest this morning Pastor Gary Gilley has some concerns about the “bigger is better” movement sweeping American Christianity. We explore the difference between man’s efforts to grow churches and what God says in His Word.

The "church" can do great things, things the world approves of because that church is the false church, the worldly, ungodly, compromised, lukewarm church, and the world loves her, Jesus said He
It is truly amazing what the “church” in the United States can accomplish without God.
Actually, big is bad. It is the broad road that leads to destruction, the narrow road to eternal life, and FEW are they that find it. The principle of the bible clearly shows that it is only a remnant that will be saved, and where the crowds flock salvation is not found. This is seen today. They appeal to the flesh, give a cotton candy message, and people flock in by droves. If you preach the message of the cross; repentance, bowing at the foot of the cross, and living a holy life because it is not I that live, but Christ, because I have died to self, ohhhh…. that message offends and they don't want to hear that, but the sheep that stay are the true sheep. Few… but true. That's just the way it is. The world at large does not receive the message. But they don't care about shepherding the sheep and sharing the gospel of salvation. They care about filling their coifers with the 'tithes and offerings,' because they are a business and not a church.
