Dr. Frank Turek presents powerful and entertaining evidence for Christianity at churches and high schools as well as at secular college campuses. You can watch his weekly television program every Wednesday night on NRB or his radio program every Saturday morning. Frank writes for Townhall.com, is a former aviator in the US Navy, and has a master’s degree from George Washington University and a doctorate from Southern Evangelical Seminary.
Christians are to be salt and light in everything they do, be it in their church, in their business, in their school, or in their government…. If you think “preaching the Gospel” is important like I do, then you ought to think politics is important too. Why? Because politics and law affects your ability to preach the Gospel! Frank Turek
We don’t endorse political candidates and we understand all men are imperfect, but Frank gives us encouragement on what to look for and who to consider from a biblical perspective, and why.
Frank Turek’s brand new book is called, Stealing from God: Why Atheists need God to make their case.
- Frank’s new book is called Stealing from God, and the subtitle is, “Why Atheists need God to Make their Case.” He suggests atheists cannot make their case without appealing to realities only theism can explain, and that they are committing intellectual crimes.
- Approximately 75% of Christian youth leave the faith by the time they finish High School. We ask Frank what parents can do to help encourage their kids in the faith and prevent this from happening?
- Frank addresses the argument for moral relativism, “That’s true for you, but not for me.” He also shares one of his favorite responses to someone who might also say, “there is no truth.”
He also shared his thoughts relating to the law of non-contradiction, pointing to the hypocrisy of liberals:
Consider the “right” to abortion invented in 1973. If you’re a liberal, is that “right” subject to “evolution”? What if a judge comes along one day and declares that the U.S. Constitution has “evolved” to guarantee the unborn a right to life. Would you accept that idea of constitutional evolution? Frank Turek
We discuss the importance of having a biblical foundation and worldview, including an understanding about how to respond to others with questions and thought provoking evidence that demands a decision be made.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 26 For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; 27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, 28 and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, 29 so that no man may boast before God. 30 But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption… 1 Corinthians 1:25-30
…but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 1 Peter 3:15
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness, 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen. 2 Peter 3:17-18
