God gave man a free will to choose our beliefs, values and behaviors. But each of these choices have temporal and eternal consequences.
Our nation has several serious choices to make in the coming months. Electing a new president who will choose up to three Supreme Court nominees is right at the top of the list. Today we continue our look at how sadly modern day America seems to be adopting the ideas of Karl Marx and the Communist Manifesto, leading us to becoming a godless state of humanism.

There's a very interesting article I read over at zerohedge:
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-03-25/slow-ine…
Something that I've been witnessing for the last few years in the political arena, as the parties meld more and more together in "philosophy," the more the system erodes. I believe this is by design, it's not chance, demographics or any other statistic, America is headed for a one party system, with many candidates and with different platforms, but with same center-core mandates which will be: the environment, gay rights and economic hegemony. As I say, there's never been a left or right, the political spectrum has been used to fool people, to control, to conquer and divide. This would sound impossible to Cold War era Americans, but casual research will show who funded the Nazi and Soviet parties, the third world conflicts that raged in the 70s, 80s and still smolder today. These are not crack pot conspiracy theories, these are factual historic events, perpetrated by a cadre.
Being new to the south , we’re learning how faith + patriotism + Fox News = true christian.
I’ve been gently corrected for not jumping on the political band wagon with my Christian friends, being ever so subtly told I’m failing to do my “christian duty’ , not being patriotic. I researched who I was being influenced to vote for and thats not how it works in this part of Texas. Shame on me for actually reading scripture in context too.**sigh**
Hi Rascott! How are you?
Yes there's an irony to their stated mission. The reason I brought them up is because it's becoming clearer and clearer to me that the sons of this world have become wiser than the sons of light! Most of the research I've done into politics, the establishment, and freedom erosion has shown me that those that don't follow Christ have a clearer view of what's happening around the globe! They're not letting the smoke and mirrors affect their vision! Meanwhile, Christians seem like the proverbial deer in front of headlights, when it comes to politics, economics and the not so obvious forces pushing this world into exactly as predicted in scripture! Everyone is so caught up in who the "proper" candidate should be, that they forget whomever that candidate is will have NO control of government. And thank you for bringing to mind Ephesians 6:12! The days are here, so sad so many are asleep! I must see Network again, I saw in the theater when it first debuted, I'll Netflix it tonight! That movie has become indicative of modern day media.
Doing well here Manny, thanks. There’s much truth to what you say but I wouldn’t give too much credit to unbelievers for having wisdom. Many see a problem, some have awareness of the nature of the problem but none of them see true hope. For most of them the solution is getting more political power.
Absolute power belongs to God. Satan is the prince of the power of the air. Some Christians insist that the Church is to take political and cultural power. Others like me are concerned with liberties and rights such as freedom of speech, due process, right to assemble and petition, and self defense. Mostly what is being pushed are false liberties such as gender identification, the right to not be offended, and the right to cross borders illegally.
I disagree that one POTUS or candidate is the same as the next. The course is set I have no doubt but each action or inaction of the POTUS is not. But what we are seeing, what is being unmasked more and more is that political power is in the hands of a “priestly class”. Government is no longer of the people by the people and for the people. And the unmasking is what is making the “establishment” squirm.
In a campaign season full of hypocrisies and ironies I must say that the people encouraging, imploring other to get out and vote while cheering for a brokered convention to take away votes they distain, well these people take the cake.
Take care Manny
Hi Rascott, I'm glad you're doing well!
"Many see a problem, some have awareness of the nature of the problem but none of them see true hope. For most of them the solution is getting more political power." There's the rub my friend! The solution is getting more political power! You are referencing unbelievers, yet so many Christians believe this!
I understand where you are coming from! I too see the rights being erased on a daily basis. And rightly said what passes for liberty is nothing more than libertinism and license. Yet, unbelievers that are paying attention see what is happening in front and in back of the curtain! Christians on the other hand are not watching as commanded by Jesus.
Things are not as they seem! Peel the onion my friend! It smells, but you begin to see the core. Signs of the times correlating to revelation.
God bless!
Ron, this reminds me of Exodus, when the Jews left Egypt, many who didn't want to follow the rules set by God through Moses wanted to return, they rebelled against Moses and God.
When we became Christians, through the grace and mercy of Jesus, we left spiritual Egypt (US or any country), yet we cling to that instead of walking to our new promised land! We want to save Egypt instead of seeing it for what it is, afraid of fellow "brothers" that may call us unpatriotic, instead of reaching the masses of the lost and guiding them to our real home and future……..something that no politician, no establishment hack, no banker, corporatist, or wolf has the keys to.
Many here should read this: The Rutherford Institute has helped many Christians who were hampered and persecuted by government.
https://www.rutherford.org/publications_resources…
"The Deep State not only holds the nation’s capital in thrall, but it also controls Wall Street (“which supplies the cash that keeps the political machine quiescent and operating as a diversionary marionette theater”) and Silicon Valley.
As Lofgren concludes:
[T]he Deep State is so heavily entrenched, so well protected by surveillance, firepower, money and its ability to co-opt resistance that it is almost impervious to change… If there is anything the Deep State requires it is silent, uninterrupted cash flow and the confidence that things will go on as they have in the past. It is even willing to tolerate a degree of gridlock: Partisan mud wrestling over cultural issues may be a useful distraction from its agenda.
Remember this the next time you find yourselves mesmerized by the antics of the 2016 presidential candidates or drawn into a politicized debate over the machinations of Congress, the president or the judiciary: it’s all intended to distract you from the fact that you have no authority and no rights in the face of the shadow governments."
Thanks for the links Manny. Regarding the Rutherford Inst. article the last paragraph is rather ironic considering the Institute’s stated mission—“The Institute’s mission is twofold: to provide legal services in the defense of civil liberties and to educate the public on important issues affecting their constitutional freedoms.” They defend rights and freedoms which they deny even exist. Hmm.
The zerohedge article nailed it— “Heaven knows it’s funny and obviously there’s something highly satisfying about watching the establishment squirm.” It brings to my mind the 1976 movie Network and the scene where Arthur Jensen (Ned Beatty) sets Howard Beale (Peter Finch) straight about the order of things. If you aren’t familiar with it Google it: Great speech, worth a watch.
Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Amen Ron! This time the cracks in the system are clearly visible, so-called right news outlets in cahoots with lefties! Lol! What an insult to anyone's intelligence! I personally don't partake of what's called politics any longer, my eyes have been opened since a while back, I don't invest emotion in it, I don't let anyone guilt-trip me about it, I know how the system works, so I'm hardly ever surprised by what's being done. I'll tell you what really worries me, so many Christians emotionally tied in to politics, that if they were to spend that energy into the work of Christ, true evangelism would explode in the US, but alas, so many think politics holds the keys reversing this country's moral decline. Yet those running for highest office and gaining, are the ones with real faulty moral compasses! My deepest desire is for Christians to wake up, see the truth behind what is called politics, get over the so called "patriotism" that's has been pushed into our collective consciousness since we left the cradle (I know, I was one of those…. I was a Reagan college kid, participating in voting drives, etc., etc.), we abhor what's happened to this country, how it has degenerated, but scripture said this would happen not only in the US, but in the world. Go back to scripture and read the laundry list written on the conditions of the world, including the US, in the last days. It's exactly what passes for society today. Jesus warned us many, many times, He said to WATCH, how many of us are watching, trying to understand, asking The Holy Spirit for guidance during these dark evil days. Politics is nothing more than "bread and circuses."
Manny, I agree that we can't put our trust in politics or the wisdom of men for deliverance. A passage that comes to mind is 1 chronicles 12:32: The men of Issachar who understood the times and knew what Israel should do. I think it important to understand the times; not to bring one to think that one can change the times, but to be prepared and ready for what is to come. "Therefore, you also must be ready…" – Mathhew 24:44.
Well said Manny! We often hear the platitude that the political parties and their policies are driven by the grassroots, but the reality is that there is a political establishment, powerful back-room operatives who give lip service to the idea that the people are in control while operating like puppeteers. Much the same is happening here in Canada, where there are calls to "unite the right" without any common understanding as to what "the right" or small "c" conservatism is.
Ahhhh, America is Godless, some Americans are Christians, we can't call this country a Christian nation, to do so is to be deceived, a cursory look at data from Barna research shows that even so called "Christians" consider scripture inconsequential to their "faith." Really? A label doesn't make anything or anyone into what's advertised.
As for we the citizens choosing a president? Come on! Case point Trump, love him or hate him, if he gets the electoral college and populist vote, why are there rumblings coming from the GOP about contesting the convention? Didn't the people want him, don't their votes count? Does the GOP have the right to decide who better represents the voting citizens? It's disgusting! Is this America, or Amerika? A few weeks back, it was reported that several media outlet moguls (CNN, FOX, CBS, NBC and others) met "secretly" to formalize a strategy to defeat Trump! What does that say, about the nation, the system, the political smoke and mirrors being foisted on a dumbed down population? Do you really think your votes count? That anyone will change the course of this nation?
