Pastor Saiko Woods

His Word His Way Fellowship Church
Pastor Woods is from His Word His Way Fellowship Church in Sugar Land, Texas, where he preaches God’s Word is our final authority. He also has a Bible-based watchman radio ministry called His Word His Way, a hard-hitting show in which he fearlessly tackles some tough issues facing the Church. You can also connect with him on Twitter.

Our great-grandparents would never have imagined the moral issues facing America today. Men of God from our early history as well as our Founding Fathers would never have imagined how far Christians have allowed this once great nation to fall. Men who fought a revolution so we could live in a free society and openly express our biblical faith would not appreciate the fact government once again seems to be controlling the people rather then the other way around.
The issue of transgender individuals isn’t going away anytime soon—it may only become more prominent in our society. How should Christians respond? We have to start by understanding the issues at stake. Even before this, we as believers need to be equipped with solid, biblical answers to engage the culture for Christ and boldly love others with the truth.
Pastor Saiko Woods joins us today for a thought-provoking discussion of the so-called ‘culture wars,’ changing worldviews, and gender lies, to start.
Even among Christians, why is there a clear departure from the truth? Is our foundation on sinking sand rather than Scripture?
America is sick. This present sickness is caused by sin which is every human being’s problem. Salvation is our greatest need! Jesus Christ is the only remedy for sin. As difficult as it is to sometimes apply, we need to combat hate with love and keep an eternal perspective. People need to be saved from this darkness.
Sadly, gender-confused children, taken deeper into their confusion, will be made victims of the Left and the LGBT agenda under the guise of moral progress.
Here’s a perfect verse describing the times we live in where moral relativism is promoted over common sense, truth, and science:

“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” Judges 21:25

It is imperative we understand what is happening and then to speak out. The Obama Department of Education’s actions mean that “gender” itself in terms of admission for all colleges accepting federal funds is ultimately a matter of identification, not biological sex.
ARTICLES DISCUSSED on today’s broadcast:
God Created Them “Male and Female,” Not Transgender – President Obama is attempting to impose his anti-God worldview regarding gender on America. Displaying a total disregard for Christians who stand on God’s Word, President Obama’s administration recently gave school districts across the country its supposed “guidance” on transgender access to bathrooms, locker rooms, and more. …President Obama has obviously rejected the absolute authority of the King of Creation, and instead is imposing his own views of morality on the culture, based on fallible human opinion—whatever is right in his own eyes. He doesn’t simply want certain supposed rights for those who claim the identify of transgender, but he wants to force everyone else to agree with this sinful lifestyle.
Bathrooms, Biology, and Federal Overreach  Was everyone who lived before 2015 an unenlightened bigot? Recent statements by this administration may give you that impression. The last two weeks have been, of all things, about bathrooms… Transgender rights, like gay and lesbian rights before them, have been placed in the historical narrative of overcoming discrimination and bigotry. We aren’t dealing with just a policy issue; we’re dealing with a fundamental view of what it means to be human.

Now if all of this sounds like a strange exercise in denying reality, well, it is. That’s the power of worldview. Like prescription glasses, worldviews will either clarify reality or distort reality. The ideas at work here are reality-denying. John Stonestreet

Nancy Pelosi Proud of Obama Administration Transgender Directive to Public Schools “The Departments interpret Title IX to require that when a student or the student’s parent or guardian, as appropriate, notifies the school administration that the student will assert a gender identity that differs from previous representations or records, the school will begin treating the student consistent with the student’s gender identity,” says the letter.
But They Said It Wasn’t An Agenda!  From a rainbow-colored White House to corporations proudly promoting political correctness, it is difficult to deny the spiritual and moral decline in our country. A pivotal difference between Christians and the opposition is those on the Left understand one major key many of us have lost sight of long ago: influence is everything. If we don’t influence our churches, communities, and culture, someone else gladly will…
A Vote to Check Unpredictable Evil With the Predictable   Washington D.C. pastor and member of The Gospel Coalition, Thabiti Anyabwile is voting for Hillary over Donald.

I’m interested in thinking out loud about a dilemma most Christians feel they’re in with this election: who to vote for or whether to vote at all… In addition to my own principle, I found historical support in the likes of W.E.B DuBois and others. The key question then, as now, is: “Why are you voting the way you are?”  …A good number of people liken the choice between Clinton and Trump to a choice between Stalin or Hitler. Some argue there is no lesser evil–only evil. I feel the need to cast a vote–a vote against someone. I respect others who differ. If a person can sit by peaceably while evil progresses, then they have a conscience problem of a different sort.

Black Genocide Say it isn’t so! Planned Parenthood’s founder, (racist, feminist, and eugenicist) Margaret Sanger’s connection with NAACP founder W.E.B. DuBois (he wrote for Sanger’s Birth Control Review) is part of the history of birth control…

“The most dangerous place for an African American to be is in the womb of their African American mother.” Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr.

What the Transgender Bathroom Debate Means for You   The state here wishes to use its coercive power not simply to stop mistreatment of people but to re-script the most basic human intuitions about humanity as male and female. How, after all, does one win a culture war against one of the most basic facts of science and life: that there are two sexes? We should recognize that unbiblical caricatures of masculinity and femininity were always harmful, but now are potentially deadly.
