Pastor Carl Gallups

We’re joined by Pastor Carl Gallups today as we try to look at today’s news from a biblical perspective, and try to see how all that is happening around us fits into God’s plan for the world. Gallups’ latest book is Be Thou Prepared.

One promise Barack Obama has kept from 2008:  He has indeed “fundamentally transformed” America.  From bringing chaos to the Middle East, birthing ISIS, to bringing the nation to the verge of economic and moral bankruptcy, he has delivered in a big, but sad way.
He has also succeeded in rendering a spineless Republican-led Congress pretty much helpless to fight his agenda at every turn.  Can the damage of the past eight years be reversed?  If not, what lies ahead for our once great nation?
Pastor Carl Gallups, author of Be Thou Prepared joins us to discuss the current condition of church and country as well as how Christians should respond.
We begin talking about some of the damage the Obama administration has caused over the last eight years and how most people never saw it coming. America is experiencing massive debt, a disastrous health care system, a weakening national security, and a culture being sold on gender identity, sexual confusion and experimentation.
Why a Republican-led Congress has not had the backbone to resist or overturn some of President Obama’s policies is disappointing and frustrating. It makes sense trust in government is at all-time lows.
Pastor Carl Gallups also explained his thoughts in a new blog he wroth, including the opening paragraph:

Consider this.  One minute before Obama unleashed his “transgender bathroom order” upon our public schools throughout the nation –  the act of a man purposely going into a girl’s bathroom, shower, or dressing room for the explicit purpose of using those facilities with the little girls or teenage girls – was a criminal offense.  If that man insisted that he “felt more like a girl” as his “excuse,”  not only would he have still been subject to arrest and incarceration but also he may have been examined for a psychotic delusion disorder.

For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.… 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short. Revelation 12:12
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Matthew 18:6
