We are less than four months away from electing the next President of the United States, and a growing number of people believe this to be a crucial election.  However, surveys show a lot of Evangelical Christians and church leaders are not as involved as they historically have been in the political debate. We know what we will get with Hillary Clinton, but many are unsure what a Trump presidency would look like.

Donald-Trump bibleRecently Donald Trump held a closed door meeting with Evangelical pastors and leaders.  Today we are joined by someone who was there.  James Walker of Watchman.org shares his thoughts from the meeting and we’ll also ask about his ongoing efforts to reach Mormons with the gospel of Jesus Christ. (Download the Watchman Fellowship ‘Digital Notebook’ resource mentioned in today’s broadcast.)

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, Ephesians 2:1

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. Romans 15:4
