TODAY’S GUEST – Julaine Appling of Wisconsin Family Council!
We discuss the riots and vandalism in Kenosha, WI in response to a police shooting or a black man as well as Governor Tony Evers irresponsible response, siding with rioters immediately. We touch on the debate over mail-in and absentee voting in light of coronavirus fears, and what’s missing from President Trump’s 2nd term agenda.
(The first video released went viral, only showing about 12 seconds of footage but not what happened prior)
Today’s big story: Another police shooting – and people chiming in without knowing all the facts.
The Kenosha Professional Police Association ripped what it called the “irresponsible” comments from Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and issued a call for withholding judgment, in the wake of an officer-involved shooting on Sunday.
More information has been made public about Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old man who was shot by police. According to the Associated Press, Blake was wanted for sexual assault, among other charges.
Jacob Blake, 24, of Racine, was charged Monday in Racine County Circuit Court with one felony count of resisting arrest causing a soft tissue injury to a police officer and one misdemeanor count each of carrying a concealed weapon, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, endangering safety-use of a dangerous weapon, and disorderly conduct. If convicted, he will face up to 8-1/2 years in prison, up to $50,000 in fines.
