Living-Oasis

Elijah Abraham

Living Oasis Ministries

Elijah offers a unique perspective on the nature of Islam. He was born and raised as a Muslim in Iraq, but converted to Christianity and started Living Oasis Ministries, an organization devoted to teaching American churches about Islam and the best means for reaching out to Muslims with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Living Oasis Ministries is called to equip the saints in the U.S. and around the world to reach Muslims for Christ, to proclaim the Word of God to those who do not know Him through preaching and teaching the Word of God, and to help the global Church challenge Islam with the gospel through apologetics.

While God is a God of order, Satan is a master of deception, confusion and chaos.  As our world continues to spin into confusion, it is apparent who is calling the shots: The accuser of the brethren, father of lies, and enemy of God. As Christians we should be able to see through the deception and fog, but too many believers seem to be spending less time in God’s Word and more time with things of this world. As a result, our vision becomes blurred to the point we cannot perceive and discern deception from truth. One interesting phenomenon we are witnessing is a self-proclaimed (formerly) “Christian Nation” having more people abandon biblical Christianity while in restricted and Muslim dominated nations, the gospel is being proclaimed and people are coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Elijah Abraham of Living Oasis Ministries is a former Muslim and now a passionate born-again believer who travels the world equipping Christians and church leaders to share the gospel in the Muslim world.  He joins us to discuss what he is witnessing in both American churches and those in heavily Muslim nations.

A Barrage of Rockets continues Pummeling Israel

Some 400 missiles fired since Monday; about 100 intercepted by Iron Dome; over 150 sites targeted in Gaza; sides warn of heavier fighting to come. The Israel Defense Forces said before the fresh barrage Tuesday that about 370 rockets and mortar rounds had been shot at Israel since Monday, including 70 rockets fired at Israeli towns since midnight, in what was being called the largest-ever barrage on southern Israel. The rockets fired Tuesday morning pushed that figure beyond 400. Rocket sirens continue to sound in Israel despite reports of new Gaza ceasefire.
