OUR NEXT GUEST: Gaye Frances Willard – is an an author and an award-winning artist with commissioned portraits in both private and public collections worldwide. As a lover of Christmas and the Christ it celebrates, Gaye began a series of paintings which point to His Deity. Each title includes a scriptural reference and incorporates the presence of Santa Claus as a representation of all humankind. Because the cross of Christ is central to the story of Christmas, it is painted into the background of every edition.

In Every Knee Shall Bow- A Christmas Collection, Willard shares the ‘why’ for each of the eight paintings in her Christmas series. Within these pages you will learn the inspiring story behind the creation of each image. More than just seasonal images, they are an artistic representation of the timeless truth of scripture. Through the paintings and the words you will be encouraged to celebrate the Christ of Christmas “with all of your heart, with all of your soul and with all of your mind.”

The excitement, wonder, and true purpose of the Christmas season is the focus of Gaye’s Christmas artwork, for which she has gained considerable notoriety. Her painting, “Every Knee Shall Bow,” is represented in an exclusive line bearing her name and is carried nationwide by Hobby Lobby and other gift markets.

SCRIPTURES

For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Psalm 95:6

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:1, 14

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Galatians 4:4-5

She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel;” Matthew 1:21-23
