The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. But the gospel must be preached without compromise to those who are perishing or they cannot be saved. We know the truth of Christianity is not popular today and the world would rather turn to Satan and eventually, the anti-Christ for solutions to the crisis coming upon the earth.

While no one knows the exact date this will happen, Jesus warned about the signs of the last days so we might discern that His return is getting close. But unfortunately, Satan has deceived many professing Christians to fall for a secular, humanist worldview that has already spread around the world.  Believers are told to know the truth, and hold fast until the end so we will not fall for these strong delusions, but few would deny the rapid decline of discernment in the church today.

TODAY’S GUEST – Mike Gendron of Proclaiming the Gospel ministries, is a gifted evangelist and author of Contending for the Gospel and Preparing for Eternity. But for over 34 years, Mike was a devout Roman Catholic. That all changed in 1981 while attending an evangelical seminar when he realized the Bible is the supreme authority for knowing truth. He speaks at conferences, churches, and preaches the truth with compassion and without compromise.

SCRIPTURES

Jesus presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went away. 26 But when the wheat sprouted and bore grain, then the tares became evident also. 27 The slaves of the landowner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 And he said to them, ‘An enemy has done this!’ The slaves *said to him, ‘Do you want us, then, to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he *said, ‘No; for while you are gathering up the tares, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.” Matthew 13:24-30

Then the Lord said,“Because this people draw near with their words
And honor Me with their lip service,
But they remove their hearts far from Me,
And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote; Isaiah 29:13

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

Matthew 16:13-19
