Young people today – as well as many adults – are being deceived by emotional, alarmist, fear-driven arguments about the “existential threat” of climate change caused by mankind destroying the planet. Now, we should be concerned about being good stewards of God’s earth, but how can we help separate fiction from fact?

The Left is taking advantage of people’s ignorance. Of course, we’re referring to the world ‘religion’ of environmentalism. The climate is always changing, and the end goal is government growth and power via control and taxation of the people.
President Trump recently attended the World Economic Forum and told the audience most Americans reject the prophets of doom who predicted overpopulation in the 1960s, mass starvation in the 1970s, and the end of oil in the 1990s. Have we?
A United Nations agency is sending large amounts of American taxpayer money to the dictatorship of North Korea. The decision to fund North Korean oppression with Western tax dollars was made by the UN “Green Climate Fund” (GCF), a wealth-transfer mechanism that claims it supports “developing countries” responding to “climate change.”
Under the guise of fighting “global warming,” the UN has been getting away with all sorts of criminal activities — expanding its power, bullying industry, brainwashing children with “climate education,” …The growing power of the United Nations and the control it is trying to impose on the life of every person in the world should be a wake-up call for Christians.
The U.N. is continually promoting world-wide socialism, one-world government and a call to control or abolish every fundamental religion, calling religion a threat to world peace and harmony. …the U.N. promotes religious syncretism with “mother earth” as the entity to be worshipped. The U.N., through UNESCO, also controls the secular humanist education agenda of the National Education Association in our nation—an organization aligned with paganism and one committed to eliminating God from our public school system. While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22
For thus says the Lord,
Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it in vain,
Who formed it to be inhabited:
“I am the Lord, and there is no other. Isaiah 45:11
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. 11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn! 13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. 2 Peter 3:10-13
