“…the National Archives, the agency responsible for the preservation of the Constitution and other original national documents, has a “harmful language alert” on its research catalog. The warning, among other things, says, “Some items may reflect racist, sexist,…misogynistic, and xenophobic opinions and attitudes….and may be discriminatory towards or exclude diverse views on sexuality, gender, religion, and more.”
