Pastor Carl Gallups

We’re joined by Pastor Carl Gallups today as we try to look at today’s news from a biblical perspective, and try to see how all that is happening around us fits into God’s plan for the world. His latest book is Gods of Ground Zero.

“Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.  As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”  Romans 11:25-29

The Apostle Paul warns believers not to dismiss God’s eternal promises to Israel because many will be saved in the final days.  But an increasing number of professing Christians are turning away from Israel and supporting her enemies.

Pastor and best-selling Author Carl Gallups joins Mike and David this morning to talk about his new book that in just a few short weeks is already a best-seller.  It looks at how biblical Christianity is starting to spread in Israel as well as the controversy surrounding recently deceased Rabbi Zev Porat due to a controversial message he left to be opened upon his death.

THE RABBI, & THE SECRET MESSAGE, AND THE IDENTITY OF MESSIAH BY CARL GALLUPS

In 2005, Israeli’s most venerated orthodox rabbi, Yitzhak Kaduri, claimed he had met the true Messiah in a vision. He wrote that name in an encoded message and instructed his ministry officials to open it and post it on his website one year after his death. Kaduri died in January 2006 at the age of 108. Over 300,000 people attended his funeral in Jerusalem. The President of Israel gave the eulogy.

Carl Gallups says: In 2013 I had the distinct privilege of publishing the world’s first and only book about this story. That book, The Rabbi Who Found Messiah became an international bestseller and was eventually published in five different languages, and was also the subject of a documentary movie. The book and the movie were subsequently featured in major media sources around the globe.

Little did I know that the first book was only the tiny beginning of this continually unfolding story. What has happened since then – as reported in this brand new book – is simply unbelievable.

Young evangelicals souring on Israel because of ‘social justice,’ media deception

“Washington – A leading Anglican theologian is arguing that the reason younger evangelicals are distancing themselves from supporting Israel, including the theological underpinnings for doing so, is in part because of mass media derision of their “immoral” parents.

…millennial evangelicals are increasingly distancing themselves from modern Israel, the Anglican theologian said, in part because they want to distance themselves from their parents, who tend to support Israel enthusiastically, he said in response to a question from The Christian Post about why recent polling data indicates waning support for the Jewish state among younger Christians.”

“…millennial evangelicals are increasingly distancing themselves from modern Israel, the Anglican theologian said, in part because they want to distance themselves from their parents, who tend to support Israel enthusiastically, he said in response to a question from The Christian Post about why recent polling data indicates waning support for the Jewish state among younger Christians. CP asked if this trend is a reaction against what they see as uncritically blind, total support for Israel through figures such as San Antonio pastor John Hagee, an outspoken Christian Zionist and the founder of Christians United for Israel.”

Attacker Kills Woman 5 Months Pregnant, New York’s New Abortion Law Says Her Baby Isn’t a Human Being

Police said the woman had multiple stab wounds on her torso, neck and hands; she was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead shortly afterward. They said she was about five months pregnant with her unborn baby, who also died as a result of the attack.

The New York Post reports:

The killer targeted the 35-year-old woman’s stomach, according to the building super, who said she watched surveillance video footage that captured the murder.

“He’s got a knife! He’s going to kill the baby!” shouted five-months-pregnant Jennifer Irigoyen around 1 a.m. as her attacker pulled her from her third-floor Ridgewood walk-up and down the stairs to the building’s entranceway, horrified witness Maurice Roman Zereoue told The Post.
