[NEW BOOK!] The Bible Graphically Presented

Dr. White’s Ask the Theologian broadcast

The attacks on the validity and truth of the Bible have become more common and intense. How can we know that the Bible is the Word of God and answer the charges of skeptics?

Pastor Randy White joins Mike and David for a look at the history of the Bible and how we can confront false accusations about it with truth.

1 Peter 3:15 states:

“but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”

This requires that we we know God’s Word as well as trust God’s Word.

Romans 15:4 states:

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Tim. 3:16-17

Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. Romans 3:2

For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 17 For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son,[i] with whom I am well pleased,” 18 we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain. 19 And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, 20 knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. 21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:16-21
