When asked whether public schools and colleges should mandate the COVID vaccination for their students, Sen. Mike Braun (R-Ind.) said, “No,” because public schools are publicly funded.
At the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, CNS News asked the senator, “Should public schools and colleges be able to mandate that students be vaccinated for COVID-19?”
Sen. Braun said, “No. I don’t believe in vaccine mandates or passports. So, that’s my opinion, entities that choose to do these things are going to have the latitude to do it. I don’t necessarily agree with it, but that’s a trickier question than whether you’d say they can’t do it.”
