Mary Danielsen chats with Russ Miller of Creation, Evolution and Science Ministries (CESM) in the first half about how rampant deception begins with turning away from the simplicity of the true gospel. With so much biblical illiteracy in the church, more people at looking at fictional representations and “what is right in their own eyes” to make a Jesus in their own image. Using the text of 2 Corinthians 11:3-4, we learn of Paul’s concerns that his readers (including this generation) would find themselves beguiled and bewitched just as Eve was and their/our minds would be corrupted. We will look at some of the ways this can and will happen at an increasingly rapid rate. Are we willing to tell people that they “have the wrong Jesus” and explain what that means? It’s not just the cults, such as Mormonism, that have the wrong Jesus.
