Why Should Christians Discuss Voting and “Political” Issues?
I just got back from a pastor’s conference in Dallas, Texas and I’m happy to report a growing movement of godly men are committed to speaking the truth and refusing to back down or be silent about what’s happening outside the walls of our churches. Where does your pastor stand?
Now hold on, don’t tune out. I know some of you think we shouldn’t be discussing issues dealing with government and elections and politics in church, but someone’s morality will be legislated in Washington that will affect our lives – but we have a say.

Dave Wager from Silverbirch Ranch is back live with Crash to dig into John 3:30: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” What happened along the way. How has it become more about me and less about God and others? Dave talks about what is taught in Revelation 18 and how it’s playing out in our lives today and what believers must guard in their hearts and guard against.

Some Christians prefer to remain on the sidelines rather than speak truth to others or address the many controversial issues being debated these days. But if the church doesn’t preach the full gospel, confront apostasy and expose evil, many people will remain confused and lost, eternally.

Today’s discussion is a powerful one that everyone in Christ needs to hear. Dave spoke the assertion that “many attending churches today think they are saved, but they are not.” Is that scriptural?

For too long, too many people think of abortion as merely a “political” or a “social” issue”. Some suggest it only falls under the category of privacy: a woman’s medical decision “between her and her Doctor”. But the reality is we are talking about life or death for an innocent baby created by God in His image. Wisconsin Right to Life is one of the most prestigious, efficient pro-life organizations in our nation. Mike and David are joined by Heather Weininger, executive director of Wisconsin Right to Life to discuss pro-life issues as well as the September 24 Green Bay dinner and reception for the Veritas Society.

Read MoreChristians Vs LGBTQ in “Post-Christian” America?
There can be no doubt the rules of cultural engagement for Christians is changing rapidly – especially as we attempt to share our faith and live our lives. Just the mere mention of the Bible or the word “Christian” conjures up accusations of being an intolerant bigot, homophobe, and hater.
What do we do as Christian witnesses who are instructed to be salt and light in the world?
Today Mike and David take a comprehensive look at the controversy surrounding New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees who is being criticized from all angles over his recent support of the national campaign, “Bring Your Bible to School Day” (Oct. 3). Brees also responded to the criticism he received from cultural bullies and LGBTQ advocates as well as the Christian Community.
Read MoreThe Subtle Erosion of Biblical Literacy
Change is sometimes abrupt and immediate, but more often it is comprised of a slow erosion over time as little by little truth is replaced with opinions and emotions. The serious decline of Christianity in America is the result of decades of subtle changes in what has been and is currently being taught in public education, what is presented in media, and from pulpits that often seem more interested in placating culture instead of speaking God’s truth and shining the light of Christ truth into it.

God is righteous, just and holy. He gets angry and will one day pour out His wrath upon a fallen, sinful world and many will perish. But He is also loving and kind; patient and long suffering; He is merciful and offers His grace to those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Our human level of thinking and understanding cannot readily reconcile these attributes—they often seem contradictory to us. Dave Wager joins Mike and Crash to discuss God’s attributes as we look at the Book of Nahum.

In John 8:31-32 Jesus says “If you abide in my word, you are my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
In our final segment we look at a report that famous televangelist Benny Hinn has renounced the “prosperity preaching” that , along with his fake healing shows, has marked his life as a public figure.
But first we visit with Mark Eckel of Ratio Christi Ministries and founder of The Comenius Institute, shepherding students and faculty at IUPYI University in Indiana.

The Church in America Must Be the Church!
As we saw in 2020, forces of darkness have been hard at work. The enemy – both human and demonic – coming against us hard. It is stunning, the speed with which our country, culture, freedoms, and very way of life have been attacked and dismantled!
If there was ever a time in American history that the Christian Church needs to be an essential, gospel-preaching, influential, faith-building, fruit-bearing, saint-equipping church, it’s now.

An alarmingly high percentage of youth are walking away from their faith today. We now know it is at much younger ages when children begin to doubt what they have learned. Many studies have been done and the evidence is clear. What are we doing wrong as Christian parents and the church in general?
